MARGARET C. BETTS

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Margaret C. Betts of Brighton will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Alton. The Rev. Jim Boyer will officiate. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Cemetery here, with Crain Funeral Home of Dongola in charge of arrangements.

Betts, 59, died Friday, July 3, 1992, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Mo.

Sh was born Aug. 21, 1932, at Elco, daughter of Floyd and Ellen Graves Smith. She married Wesley E. Betts.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Helen Betts of Brighton; four sons, David and Lark Betts of Brighton, Donald Betts of Quinlan, Texas, Daryl Betts of Roxana; her mother of Dongola; four sisters, Rosemary Chapel of Jerseyville, Evelyn Polle of Tamms, Carolyn Bracken of Dongola, Shirley Donaldson of Little Rock, Ark., and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
