PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Margaret B. "Marge" Baudendistel, 80, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at her home.
She was born July 13, 1930, in St. Louis, the daughter of William and Tina Greenwell Brown.
She married F.W. "Joe" Baudendistel on Jan. 19, 1952, in St. Louis. He survives in Perryville.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
Marge was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, granny, sister-in-law and friend. She enjoyed traveling with Joe and collecting cookbooks from around the world. Her family was everything to her.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Donna Baudendistel of Brentwood, Mo., and Laura (Richard) Worcester of Pewaukee, Wis.; granddaughters, Ariana and Natalie Worcester, of Pewaukee, and Leanna and Simone Baudendistel of Brentwood; one sister-in-law, Toni Baudendistel Whaley of Mobile, Ala; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Leon "Red" Brown; and one sister, Lucille Brown.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Southeast Missouri State University Copper Dome Society or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
