Margaret Adams

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Margaret A. Adams, 85, of Perryville passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born Feb. 18, 1935, on Kaskaskia Island, Illinois, to Russell and Rose Grabe Brown. She and Robert E. Adams were married June 30, 1951. He preceded her in death Dec. 19, 2017.

Margaret had worked at Prince Gardner. She was a member of Grace Church Ministries in Chester, Illinois. She loved quilting and playing bingo.

Survivors include four sons, Bobby (Terri) Adams of Perryville, Randy (Tina) Adams of Perryville, Neal (Monica) Adams of Chester and Brian Adams of Perryville; two daughters, Joanne (Dennis) House of Perryville and Darla (Dan) DeMond of Leasburg, Missouri; a brother, Russell "Scott" (Jan) Brown of Perryville; two sisters, Louise (Harold) Brown of St. Mary, Missouri, and Sherry (Dale) Clifton of Perryville; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband; a brother, Earl Brown; and two sisters, Mildred Bollinger and Maxine Messmer.

Visitation will be private for the family.
