Marcia Brockmire, 59, of Memphis, Tenn., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis. She was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of John Marcus and Hazel Alice Nickell Kirtley. She and Ronald W. Brockmire were married March 20, 1965, in Kansas City...

Marcia Brockmire, 59, of Memphis, Tenn., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis.

She was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of John Marcus and Hazel Alice Nickell Kirtley. She and Ronald W. Brockmire were married March 20, 1965, in Kansas City.

Brockmire was a secretary at the University of Tennessee-Memphis about 30 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Brockmire of Memphis; a son, Timothy Brockmire of Memphis; two sisters, Karen Stubbs and Mary Ellen Kirtley of Kansas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
