MARCELLA L. PROFFER

WHITEWATER -- Marcella L. Proffer, 74, of Whitewater died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at the family home.

She was born April 19, 1925 at Cobden, Ill., the daughter of William John Henry and Minnie Unger Penrod.

She married Earley H. Proffer on Oct. 20, 1948, at Harrisburg, Ark.

She was a charter member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Ellis D. Penrod of Noble, Ill.; four step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a stepson.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

Pastor Lee Whitman will officiate, with burial in the Proffer Cemetery at Crump.
