MOUNDS, Ill. -- Maonia F. Friedman, 79, of Mounds, died Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Cairo, daughter of H.G. and Emily Cowan. She married Walter Friedman.

Friedman was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Mounds.

Survivors include her husband; a sister, Carrie Parker of Cairo; two stepdaughters, June Wilson of Biloxi, Miss., Carlene Davis of Decatur, Ill.; six stepgrandchildren, and several great-stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds after 5 p.m. today, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Ernest Browning officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
