SCOTT CITY -- Manda Julia Dunger, 89, of Scott City died Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 3, 1902 at Kelso, the daughter of Henry and Mary Roth Peetz.

On April 18, 1922, she married William Henry Dunger. He died on July 28, 1988.

She was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City and the Ladies Aid.

Surviving are three sons, Bill Dunger, Branson, Clarence Dunger, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Charles Dunger, St. Louis; three daughters, Ida Marie Dunger, Scott City, Dorothy Drury, Woodson Terrace, and Shirley Schroeder, Afton; two sisters, Neta Raines, Chaffee, and Marie Kinder, Scott City; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 1 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Eisleben Lutheran Church with the Rev. Daniel Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
