JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mamie Timms, 67, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1926, in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of Russell and Liza Reonis Dunson. She and Leonard Timms were married June 24, 1946, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death.
Timms was a member of Jonesboro Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include six daughters, LaVeda VanMatre of Cape Girardeau, Patricia and Pam Roach of Anna, Jeannie Kelly and Faye Timms of Jonesboro, Wanda Johnson of Denver, Colo.; a son, Danny Timms of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jonesboro Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Clifton Galiher will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
