COMMERCE, Mo. -- Mamie Aline LeDure, 102, of Commerce entered the gates of Heaven at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019.

She was born Oct. 23, 1916, near Commerce to John Gustav and Lucy Spraker Sander. She married Leo Joseph LeDure on Dec. 20, 1933. He preceded her in death Sept. 6, 1998.

Mamie was a member of the Commerce Community Club and St. Paul United Methodist Church. She loved quilting; working in her flower and vegetable gardens; and cooking. Anyone who walked through her door was welcome at her table, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Bob, Edwin and Roy LeDure; a daughter, Wanda Reed; four daughters-in-law, Pat, Lois, Pam and Wilma LeDure, all of Commerce; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; a great-great-stepgrandchild; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Garland and Donald LeDure; a daughter, June Medlin; three brothers, Leeman, Elwood and Ralph Sander; and four sisters, Pauline Gutridge, Iris Graff, Jewel Putz and Lucy Noland.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
