BLOOMFIELD -- Mamie Lucille Morris, 83, of Bloomfield died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Bardstown, Ark., daughter of Oliver and Mollie Brown St. Clair Clifton.
She moved from Arkansas to Southeast Missouri in 1947. She had been a resident of Bloomfield since 1966.
She married Vader L. Morris. He died Dec. 21, 1979.
She is survived by two sons, Albert Morris of Meridan, Miss., and James Harston of Bloomfield; two sisters, J.M. St. Clair of Bloomfield and Betty Rhodes of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield today from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dallas Reagan officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
