Funeral service for Maj. Gen. Laurence B. Adams Jr. of Jefferson City will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Grace Episcopal Church there. The Rev. Harvel Sanders will officiate.
The family will receive friends after the service.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, with military rites by Missouri Army National Guard.
Freeman Mortuary in Jefferson City is in charge of arrangements.
Adams, 76, died Thursday, March 5, 1992, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Cathryn; three sons, Col. Patrick Adams of Scott Air Force Base, Ill., James Adams of Sugarland, Texas, John Adams of Kirkwood; two daughters, Victoria Kornblum of San Francisco, Calif., Jean Othic of Jefferson City; a brother, John Adams of Arlington, Va., and nine grandchildren.
