Maidie M. Snyder, 83, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1919, in LaSalle, Ill., daughter of Tony and Edith Baronia Liberta. She and Gerald E. Snyder were married Nov. 11, 1944. He died Jan. 9, 1996.
Snyder worked at the West Clock Co. in Peru, Ill. She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Ill.
The Snyders moved to Jackson, Mo., in 1994 from Rome, Ill. She had been at the Lutheran Home since 1996.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Snyder of Cape Girardeau, David Snyder of Fond du Lac, Wis., Ted Snyder of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Weber Funeral Home in Chillicothe from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward's Church. The Rev. Joseph T. Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery at Lostant, Ill.
McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of local arrangements.
