SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Magnolia Elliott of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark. Robert Debaun will officiate.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Elliott, 96, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Jan. 8, 1905, in Brookland, daughter of William "Bill" and Laura Daniels Hargrove. She married Earl Elliott, who died July 12, 1987.

Elliott was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Earline Darr of Paragould, Ark., Madeline Nichols of Corning, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.
