MAGGIE J. WESTRICH

CHAFFEE -- Maggie Josephine Westrich, 86, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 14, 1909, near Chaffee, daughter of William and Hanna Roch Glency. She and Gregory A. Westrich were married Aug. 23, 1927. He died July 17, 1977.

Westrich retired as a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, Daughters of St. Ambrose, VFW Auxiliary to Post 3127, American Legion Auxiliary to Post 389, all in Chaffee.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Compas and Virginia Seyer of Chaffee, Imogene Gouge of St. Ann; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7 and Legion of Mary service at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
