SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Maggie Mae Eaves of Sikeston was held Friday at Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn. The Rev. Bob Burnes officiated.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Eaves, 71, died Thursday, April 4, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Ridgley, Tenn., daughter of Reuben and Emma Allen Morgan. She and John Lewis Eaves were married in 1941 in New Madrid. He died July 1, 1985.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Eaves of Lilbourn, John and David Eaves of Sikeston; two daughters, Candice Anton and Millie Kettles of Sikeston, three half sisters, eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and two sisters.
