EAST PRAIRIE -- Magdalene Givens, 84, of East Prairie, died Friday, Jan. 31, 1992 at Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston.

She was born Feb. 6, 1907, in East Prairie, daughter of Oscar and Willie Greer Vaughn.

She marred Aaron D. Given on June 24, 1922. He survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Mrs. Emma Jo Rowe of East Prairie and Mrs. Billie Lee Powers of Dallas, Tex; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Givens, and a sister, Leola Vaughn.

Service will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Shelby Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dave Bowden, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service.
