GORDONVILLE -- Funeral service for Magdalene E. Doering Fiedler of Gordonville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, with the Rev. D. Lee Cullen Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and at the church after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Fiedler, 80, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1994, at Heartland Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 5, 1914, in Pocahontas, daughter of Henry and Emma Hoehl Wallmann. She and Raymond Doering were married Dec. 17, 1939. He died Feb. 12, 1985. She and Leo Fiedler were married Oct. 18, 1992.
The Doerings owned Ray's Place in Gordonville from 1946-76. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church many years, and had been a volunteer at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Marilyn Eggimann of Gordonville, Katherine Kester of Jackson; a stepson, Leonard Fiedler of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Darlene Bonney of Jackson; a brother, Aaron Wallmann of Pocahontas; a sister, Leona Koeppel of Jackson; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a half sister.
