Mae L. Farmer, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1916, in Dent County, Mo., daughter of Lem and Burtle Tucker Hanning. She and Coy Farmer were married Sept. 22, 1934, in St. Louis.
Farmer moved to St. Louis in 1926. She worked at Superior Electric, transferring to the plant in Cape Girardeau in 1936. She retired in 1962. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, and a brother, Bill Hanning of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church. The Rev. Walter Fehrmann will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
