Madlyn Beatrice Nagel, 74, of 2627 Leroy Drive, died Monday afternoon, Sept. 23, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital, where she had been a patient for eight days.
She was born March 4, 1917, at Whitewater, daughter of Sylvester and Dora Francis Schafer.
She married Edwin Nagel Oct. 15, 1939, at Jackson. He died Sept. 9, 1980.
She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and the ladies aide of the church.
Survivors are daughters, Marilyn Schwab, Wanda Anderson and Jan Guth, all of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Payton Schafer, Bolivar, Mo.; a sister, Martha Stickler, Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Two brothers also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. today.
Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church with the Rev. Louis Launhardt officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Memorial Park.
