MADGE SCHAEDLICH

MOREHOUSE -- Gertrude Madaline "Madge" Schaedlich, 86, of Conway, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994, at Conway Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 1, 1908, in Elizabethtown, Ill., daughter of Ernest and Josephine Joiner Keeling. She first married Joseph M. Barnett in April 1951. He died in 1969. She later married Earl Schaedlich in 1974. He died in 1979.

Schaedlich was formerly of Morehouse and Poplar Bluff. She had been a licensed practical nurse at Lucy Lee and Doctors Hospitals in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Rauch-Spence United Methodist Church in Morehouse, and Morehouse Chapter 450 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Charles Woods of Florissant; a daughter, Pat Sanner of Vilonia, Ark.; a brother, James Keeling of Kansas City; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 6-8 p.m. today. Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
