MADELON R. DELISLE

PORTAGEVILLE -- Funeral service for Madelon R. LeDisle of New Madrid was held Monday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church. The Rev. Ferguson Mongham officiated, with burial in Portageville Cemetery.

DeLisle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

DeLisle, 70, died Friday, Sept. 25, 1992, at New Madrid Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Caruthersville, daughter of Jeff B. and Alma Kern Rogers. She and James Byron DeLisle were married July 22, 1940, at Portageville. He died Sept. 28, 1985.

Survivors include five sons, Jerome and Justin DeLisle of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Jacques and Rouquet DeLisle of Sikeston, Jon DeLisle of New Madrid; two daughters, Yvonne Patterson of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Mooneyham of Pensacola, Fla., and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.
