ANNA, Ill. -- Madeline Koelling, 79, of Anna died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Union County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 1, 1920, in Galatia, daughter of William Oscar and Mary Melvina Flannigan Cotter. She and Adolph Koelling were married May 18, 1946, in Anna. He died Aug. 31, 1996.
Koelling was retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Guild, and Ladies Auxiliary to Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Dallas of Jonesboro, Jean Wise of Marion; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Paul Weber officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
