Maddeline Sullivan, 75, of Carrier Mills, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Eldorado, Ill., daughter of Jess and Stella Trusty Long. She and Charles H. Sullivan were married Nov. 7, 1942. He died Aug. 30, 1987.
Sullivan attended Harrisburg McKinley Avenue Baptist Church, and was a member of Harrisburg Golden Circle.
Survivors include five sons, Charles Jr. and Dennis Sullivan of Carrier Mills, Raymond Sullivan of Washington, Ind., Stan Sullivan of Cape Girardeau, Darrell Sullivan of Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Janet Kennedy and Joyce Mugge of Harrisburg, Ill.; two brothers, Arthur Long of O'Fallon, Mo., Harold Long of Aurora, Ill.; two sisters, Ailene Dillard of Dresden, Tenn., Wilma Smith of Eldorado, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Shea officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery at Carrier Mills.
