Malcolm Richard "Mack" Reddick Sr., 74, 1438 N. Water, died Monday, Oct. 16, 1995, at his home.

He was born March 29, 1921, in Chicago, son of Joseph Michael and Dorcas Irene Lorenz Reddick. He and Betty L. Little were married Nov. 1, 1958, in East St. Louis, Ill.

Reddick had owned and operated two bodyshops in St. Louis, one in Cape Girardeau and one in California. He was a driver with Snappy Delivery the past 22 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and his company was the first in history to cross the Rhine River in assault boats. He received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and ETO Ribbon with three campaign stars.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Don Clubb of El Paso, Texas, Chuck Kennamer of Avon Lake, Ohio, Malcolm Reddick II of Sikeston, Joe Reddick of Pacific; a daughter, Michele Corvick of Scott City; a sister, Lila Blythe of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Bob Little officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park with VFW graveside rites.
