CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Mable Rogers Adams, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, March 7, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 12, 1903 to Walter Rogers and Ella Woods Rogers.
On Dec. 29, 1927, she married George W. Adams in Jacksonville, Ill. He proceeded her in death on Nov. 5, 1980.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape Girardeau, past president of the Garden Club of Carbondale, Ill., and the Garden Club of Cape Girardeau and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Meyers of Denver, Colo., one brother, Andrew Rogers of Boulder, Colo., two grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Service will be Saturday at noon at the Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with Dr. Charles Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
