SIKESTON -- Mabel Marie Gregory, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, July 29, 1998, at Clearview Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 15, 1912, at Buffington, daughter of George and Kitty Oliver Pack. She and Earl T. Gregory were married July 23, 1927, in Poplar Bluff. He died June 29, 1981.
Gregory had been self-employed in sales. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, and participated in the Foster Grandparents Program 10 years.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn Gregory of Cape Girardeau, James Gregory of Benton, Thomas Gregory of Hernando, Fla.; five daughters, Gwendolyn "Billie" Bell of Bloomfield, Evva Jean "Deanie" Bollinger, Lou Nell Curtner, Alma Creed and Betsy Fields, all of Sikeston; 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
