FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Mabel Forehand, 100, of Fredericktown, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center. She was born July 13, 1919, in Thebes, Illinois, to Albert and Mary Perry Dover. FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Mabel Forehand, 100, of Fredericktown, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center.

She was born July 13, 1919, in Thebes, Illinois, to Albert and Mary Perry Dover.

Mabel is survived by her daughter, Lois Henderson of McClure, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Forehand; daughter, Mary Louis Baylor; sister, Clara Smithey; and granddaughter, Rebecca Oberts.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Memorial contributions can be made to Lindsey Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
