Mabel C. Graden, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 7, 1995, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born in Jackson May 23, 1917, to Harvey and Amelia Altenthal Meystedt.
She married Leo A. Graden Nov. 3, 1935. He survives.
Graden worked for Montgomery Ward Co., Buckner-Ragsdale and Avon.
She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau and a former member of the Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.
She also was a member of the Mary Martha Circle.
Other survivors are a daughter, Carolyn Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Matthew Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; and three sisters, Sarah Schulte, Alberta Westerhold and Dorothy Meier, all of Jackson.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at the funeral chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
