JACKSON, Mo. -- Lynn E. Loos, 63, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at his home. He was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Jackson, son of Emil and Sybil Brown Loos. He and Linda Lou Guyer were married June 1, 1957, in Kansas City. She died Dec. 15, 1999...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Lynn E. Loos, 63, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at his home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Jackson, son of Emil and Sybil Brown Loos. He and Linda Lou Guyer were married June 1, 1957, in Kansas City. She died Dec. 15, 1999.

Loos was a 1955 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 1957 graduate of the airline training division at Central Technical Institute.

He was employed by Braniff Airlines of Kansas City 25 years, and by America West Airlines in Las Vegas six years. He worked at Seebring Mufflers nine years, retiring in February 2000.

Loos was an Eagle Scout and had been a Boy Scout leader in Kansas City. He and his wife were instrumental in organizing Central Automotive Racecar Boosters of Kansas City.

Survivors include a son, Terrance "Terry" Loos of Liberty, Mo.; two daughters, Darlene Jones of Overland Park, Kan., Patricia Bernard of Belton, Mo.; his mother of Jackson; a brother, Ryland Loos of Albany, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call Friday night at D.W. Newcomers Funeral Home in Kansas City.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Douglass Crabb will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Gladstone, Mo.
