McCLURE, Ill. — Lynn Cavness, 64, of McClure died Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 25, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to Walter and Margaret Bray Cavness.
He was a graduate of Shawnee High School.
Lynn loved to camp, hunt and fish.
Survivors include his best friend, Willa Simmons of McClure; sister-in-law, Fran Cavness of Grand Tower, Illinois; brother-in-law, Vernon Harris of Centralia, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margaret Cavness; four sisters, Pat Smith, Jane Cavness, Linda Harris and Donna Cavness; and two brothers, Kenny Cavness and Roger Cavness.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morgan officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to National Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association.
