SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lynda Lou Parker Davis, 58, of Sikeston and formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Oct. 14, 1941, near East Prairie, Mo., daughter of James Floyce and Daisy Margaret Johnson Parker. She lived in Mississippi County most of her life, moving to Sikeston in 1998.
She was first married to Wallace Reed Hale, who died Sept. 25, 1960. She and Charles R. Davis were married, and he died Jan. 28, 1987.
Survivors include one son, Wallace Reed Hale Jr. of Sikeston; two daughters, Lori Ann Ferra and Melody Kaye Hammer, both of Sikeston; one brother, Jackie M. Parker of East Prairie; one sister, Dorothy Joan Miller of Diehlstadt, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and two brothers.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loy Miller officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
