WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Luther D. "Luke" Spicer Jr., 86, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023.
He was born Aug. 4, 1936.
Luke was the beloved husband of Pasty Spicer.
He served in the U.S. Air Force. After his military service, he became a firefighter with the City of St. Louis. After his retirement, he moved to Las Vegas and worked at Golden Nugget casino.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He will be dearly missed by family and all who knew him.
Luke is survived by his granddaughter, Sharon (Adam) Riechers; grandson, Scott (Brigett) Herrington; sister, Norma Selvidge; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dakota, Adam Jr., Abree, Trenton, Tucker, Zachary and Konnor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pasty; and daughter, Cynthia Herrington.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 Wednesday, March 22, at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, Missouri.
