MARBLE HILL -- Luther O. "Blackie" Weibley, 72, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995, at John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 11, 1922, in Loysville, Pa., son of Shelburn and Margaret Scott Weibley. He married the former Freda Fox.

Weibley was a retired truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Luther Weibley Jr. of Cresson, Pa.; two daughters, Patricia Logston and Judith Mottern of Marble Hill; a brother, Melvin Weibley of Loysville; a sister, Mary Laughlin of Hematite; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

There is no visitation.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. today at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
