BLOOMFIELD -- Luther Martin King, 89, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1992, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
He was born May 18, 1903, at Potosi, the son of James and Martha King. In December 1972, he married Brizelle Crawford, who preceded him in death in December 1972.
Formerly of Farmington, he was a resident of Bloomfield for the past 10 years, where he was a member of the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Hammer of Imperial and James King of Farmington; two daughters, Sandy Wills and Vicky Sperino, both of Bloomfield; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Dallas Reagan will officiate, and burial will be in the Pendleton Cemetery at Doe Run.
