MILLERSVILLE -- Graveside service for Luther Hartle of Hannibal was held Saturday at Rest Haven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.
Hartle, 86, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
He was born March 3, 1910, in Millersville, son of Jessie P. and Marada Mae Seabaugh Hartle. He and Lillian R. Tapley were married Dec. 1, 1939, at Hannibal.
Hartle was a retired auto mechanic and had worked at Charlie C. Jones Battery and Electric Co. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Cortez, Colo. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Dale Hartle of Jackson; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, son, four brothers and a sister.
