KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Lura Larrison of the Forman community in Johnson County will be held at 11 a.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Rev. Alvin Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Belknap.

Larrison, 99, died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Southgate Care Center in Metropolis.

She was born Oct. 22, 1899, in Belknap, daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Thompson Payne. She married William Larrison, who died in 1984.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Barnett of Karnak, Lauretta Balos of Traverse City, Mich.; three sons, Harold Miller of Owensboro, Ky., William Miller of Aurora, Gene Miller of Mosheim, Tenn.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
