LULEENE HUBBARD

EAST PRAIRIE -- Luleene Hubbard, 85, of Freeburg, Ill., died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 1985, at Monroe County Nursing Center in Waterloo, Ill.

She was born July 24, 1909, in Canalou, daughter of Jim and Lillian Pope Pruitt.

While living in Freeburg she attended the Faith Baptist Church. She was a member of the Farm Bureau of Waterloo and the First Church of God in East Prairie.

She married Jeff T. Hubbard in 1924. He died July 25, 1977.

Survivors are a son, Jerry L. Hubbard of Freeburg; two daughers, Iva B. Kelly of Chester, Ill., and LaVerne Pearson of O;Fallon, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, five sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Smith of the First Church of God in East Prairie officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
