ADVANCE -- Lula Strauser, 87, of Advance died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born March 3, 1909, in Hamilton County, Ill., daughter of John and Synthia Hughes Livingston. She and Claud Strauser were married Dec. 19, 1931, at Bloomfield. He died Jan. 22, 1987...

ADVANCE -- Lula Strauser, 87, of Advance died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born March 3, 1909, in Hamilton County, Ill., daughter of John and Synthia Hughes Livingston. She and Claud Strauser were married Dec. 19, 1931, at Bloomfield. He died Jan. 22, 1987.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Strauser of Advance, Kenneth Livingston of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Billy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rock Point Cemetery near Advance.
