SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lula Vivian Cauthorn, 87, formerly of Sikeston, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at the Lakewood Nursing Center in North Little Rock, Ark.
She was born May 7, 1913, at Kewanee, Mo., daughter of Clarence and Mittie Lancaster Mize.
She worked at Woolworth's in Sikeston for several years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was enrolled in the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
She and William Randolph Cauthorn were married Feb. 15, 1946. He died Sept. 10, 1984.
Survivors include three daughters, Joy Gooch of Sikeston, Mary Sexton of Oxford, Miss., and Kay Wilson of North Little Rock; two sisters, Vida Klipstine of Newberry Park, Calif. and Maxine Matthews of Santa Maria, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim D. Guffie will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
