CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Luella Helen Glastetter, 90, of Chaffee passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.
She was born July 16, 1924, in Kelso, Missouri, to the late George and Caroline Lux Glueck. She married Leo Glastetter on May 1, 1944, and he preceded her in death June 9, 1999.
Luella was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include a son, Mark (Ruth) Glastetter of Chaffee; two daughters, Carol (Richard) Hodge of Chaffee and Mary (Harold) Cobb of Scott City; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy (Colleen) Glastetter, Ryan Haley, Kaitlin Glastetter, Julie (Matt) Underwood, Jill (Jason) Morgan, Jodi (Andy) Palisch, Skylar and Michaela Cobb and Craig Dumey; three great-grandsons; one great-grandson expected in November; and her beloved cat, Tommy.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
