LUCY MICHAEL

DIEHLSTADT -- Funeral for Lucy Hazel Michael of Leesburg, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Maynard Cemetery at Diehlstadt.

Friends may call at the chapel from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

Michael, 84, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, in Leesburg.

She was born May 26, 1914, at Diehlstadt, daughter of Willis H. and Ida Sanders Suter. She and Walter Earl Michael were married Dec. 31, 1933, at Charleston. He died in February 1976.

Michael had been a housemother at Florida Southern College.

Survivors include a son, Don Michael of Leesburg; a daughter, Barbara Carmon of New London, Iowa; two brothers, Norman Suter of Mt. Dora, Fla., Harold Suter of Oak Park, Ill.; two sisters, Marjorie Kirkpatrick of Benton, Jenny Suter of Leesburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
