LaFave, 71, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 17, 1929, at Joplin, Mo., daughter of Oliver and Catherine Gillank LaFave.

LaFave worked 30 years at Sikeston Community Sheltered Workshop.

Survivors include her foster parents, Tommy Taylor of Sikeston and Sandy Farmer of Bertrand, Mo.
