PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lucius W. Huber, 80, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1917, in Perry County, Mo., son of Fred B. and May F. Roy Huber. He and Bessie E. Valleroy were married June 23, 1946. She died March 8, 1993.
Huber had been a pharmacist assistant. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Merk of St. Louis; a sister, Doris Elder of Perryville; and a grandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish and Knights of Columbus wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
