Lucille M. Trickey, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 25, 1913, in Whitewater, daughter of Shelby Strong and Cora Mae Spradling Strong. She and Hugh L. Trickey were married Nov. 19, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 2, 1953.
Trickey was employed as a registered nurse for 43 years at Saint Francis Medical Center, where she was head of the OB Department. She was also a member of CCW of St. Vincent de Paul.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lynn Kassebaum of San Francisco, Martha June Kade of Humble, Texas, seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
