Lucille Evelyn Kistner Thomas, 91, of Corpus Christi, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Cimarron Place Health and Rehab Center in Corpus Christi.
She was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Herman R. and Ethel Clara Nichols Kistner. She and Fred Schuette were married Sept. 22, 1935, in Jackson. She later married James Thomas June 6, 1970, in Houston.
Thomas was formerly of Jackson, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Shawneetown, Mo.
Survivors include three sons, Don (Nancy) Schuette and Jerry (Janet) Schuette of Jackson, Tom (Shawna) Steele of Gardener, Kan.; a half sister, Viola Ainsworth of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a half sister, Maxine Garner.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
