SIKESTON -- Lucille M. Riggs, 86, of Sikeston died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Hunter Acres Caring Center.
She was born Nov. 28, 1910, in Charleston, son of Lafe and Mae Maxwell Riggs.
Riggs attended college in Nashville. She had been a minister and school teacher in several towns. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a brother, Harold Riggs of Charleston, and a sister, Louise Walters of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bryan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Armer Cemetery.
