CHARLESTON -- Lucille Reed, 85, of Charleston died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 16, 1913, in Brookfield, Miss., daughter of Sam and Anna Brown Johnson. She and Albert Reed were married in 1922 in Brookfield. He died in 1987.
Reed was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Sally Orr of Wyatt, Susie Kent and Rosie Kent of Charleston; 96 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Opportunity Church, with Elder Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
