Lucille Ogborn, 86, of Jackson, formerly of McClure, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 24, 1921, to John and Kate Cuzzort Garrett. She married Luther P. Ogborn Feb. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 2002...

Lucille Ogborn, 86, of Jackson, formerly of McClure, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 24, 1921, to John and Kate Cuzzort Garrett. She married Luther P. Ogborn Feb. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 2002.

Ogborn was a member of Lake Milligan Baptist Church, and Order of Eastern Star Chapter in Owensville, Ind. She was a beautician.

Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Roberts of Jackson; two grandsons, Sean T. Aaron and Todd C. Aaron of Jackson; a sister, Pauline Linxwiler of Fort Branch, Ind.; seven nephews, Mike (Linda) Linxwiler of Bloomington, Ind., Bobby Don Linxwiler of Owensville, Larry (Joyce) Beloat of Greenwood, Ind., Lynn (Claire) Delashmutt of Anna, Ill., Lowel Delashmutt of Cape Girardeau, Bill Ogborn and Gary Ogborn of Cape Girardeau.

Also four nieces, Tammy Spindler of Fort Branch, Edna (Doug) Honey of Tamms, Ill., Charlotte Dunning of Marion, Ill., Diane Lackey of St. Louis; three sisters-in-law, Maxine Ogborn and Eldora Ogborn of Cape Girardeau, and Beulah Delashmutt of Ullin, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, two sisters and a nephew, Russell Lynn Linxwiler.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill., with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
