CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Lucille Lee, 88, of Chaffee died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born June 28, 1917, at Rockview, Mo., daughter of Leonard August and Lena Caroline Hoefler Tucker. She and W.P. Lee Jr. were married Oct. 17, 1937. He died Dec. 10, 2005.
Lee was a member of Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston and was a Sunday school teacher many years.
Survivors include four daughters, Ann Davis of Sikeston, Fay Riley of Wentzville, Mo., Mary Haman Beadles of Waxahachie, Texas, Martha Suedmeyer of Jackson; two brothers, Leonard Tucker of Chaffee, Adolph Tucker; five sisters, Rella Hahn, Opal Horn and Anna Marie LeGrand, all of Chaffee, Clara Lux of Chicago, Mary Desemone of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Revs. Larry Davis and Michael Haman officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
