SIKESTON -- Lucille Margaret Huey, 86, of Sikeston died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1913, in Oxly, daughter of Bill and Lillie LeRoux Pickett. She first married David LaRue, who preceded her in death. She later married Charles Wolpers, who also preceded her in death. She and Thomas Larkin "Smiley" Huey were married May 26, 1964, in Cairo, Ill. He died Nov. 12, 1983.
Huey had owned and operated a grocery store in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include a son, Elbert LaRue of Ava; a daughter, Loretta Brase of Sikeston; a stepson, John Huey of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a brother, Bill Pickett of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Revs. Carl Addison and Doug Lucy will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
